Big Moss’ High Impact R/L Ready Hitting mats are great for setting up Righty/Lefty Hitting bays for full swing use. They come with two 4×4 mats and include two 1×4 hitting strips. This set up will last you a long time because the the 2 hitting strips are also reversible. This means you have a minimum of 4 different wear areas. We found that these mats have the most durable & versatile performance for hitting, pitching & chipping. They are made with a high impact 5/8 inch foam base that is very shock absorbent allowing for a descending blow. As a result, you obtain the most realistic feedback from your full swings, chips, and pitches with less impact to your joints. Most of all, these mats will perform great with your launch monitor offering up good launch numbers and spin rates compared to other higher pile mats.
These mats can be rotated in all directions and still perform identically when and if you manage to wear out a side. We have found the ground stability for full swings to be unmatched when compared to this mat. Your feet will stay grounded during full swings without the feeling of slipping or floating. However, you may need to secure it with double faced tape to get full effect, which is included in this kit.
